# Access system recertification

Height safety and access systems must be recertified every year to comply with the Australian and New Zealand standards.

We inspect every anchor, rail and access point, load test them and tag each one with its test date. You get a Certificate of Compliance, valid for 12 months, and a report with photos listing anything that failed or needs attention.

Uncertified anchors must not be used, which can stop window cleaning, maintenance and repairs on your building.

Every recertification is priced per building in a written quote. It covers the on-site inspection and load testing, the report and Certificate of Compliance, and, where needed, anchor plaques, tags and a CAD roof layout.

If we recertify on the same visit as another service, such as [window cleaning](https://onevisionprojects.com.au/window-cleaning), we may be able to reduce the minimum call-out. Most of our clients combine the two.

## Questions

### How often do roof anchors need to be recertified?

At least every 12 months, under the Australian standard for height safety systems (AS/NZS 1891.4), or sooner if the manufacturer requires it.

### Can you recertify the anchors on the same visit as the window clean?

Yes. Most of our clients combine them, which saves a separate call-out.
