# Scaffolding

Scaffolding is a temporary structure, assembled and taken down again, that gives safe access for work at height.

Depending on the project, the site and the building, OneVision can arrange mobile, tower or stationary aluminium scaffolding. The scaffold is erected by licensed scaffolders.

All scaffolding we arrange complies with:

- SafeWork NSW requirements
- the Australian and New Zealand scaffolding standards, the AS/NZS 1576 series

[Rope access](https://onevisionprojects.com.au/abseil-method-rope-access) is usually faster to set up, with no scaffold hire or footpath closures. For heavy or full-height scopes where scaffold is the better option, we explain why it is worth the cost.

## Loading specifications

1. **Light duty**: Safe working load of 225 kg per working level.
2. **Medium duty**: Safe working load of 450 kg per working level.
