Our own rope access team, plus design, installation, load testing and annual recertification of the roof and facade access systems that keep every trade safe. Rope access is carried out by IRATA or ARAA certified Level 2 and 3 technicians.

## Questions

### What is rope access?

Our technicians work from ropes anchored to the roof, each with a working line and a separate safety line. It lets us reach any part of a facade quickly, without scaffold, swing stages or large lifts.

### Is rope access safe?

Yes, when it is done properly. Every job has a site-specific risk assessment and Safe Work Method Statement, a rescue plan, and IRATA or ARAA certified Level 2 and 3 technicians. We follow Australian standards and NSW work health and safety law.

### How often do roof anchors need to be recertified?

At least every 12 months, under the Australian standard for height safety systems (AS/NZS 1891.4), or sooner if the manufacturer requires it. Uncertified anchors must not be used, which can stop window cleaning, maintenance and repairs on your building.

### What does recertification involve?

We inspect every anchor, rail and access point, load test them, tag each one with its test date, and give you a certificate and report listing anything that failed or needs attention, with photos.

### Can you design and install a new height safety system?

Yes. We design roof and facade access systems, install anchors, rails, davits, ladders and static lines, and certify them on completion. Because our own technicians use these systems, we design them to be practical as well as compliant.
