Inspections + project management

Building facade inspections and reports

OneVision carries out thorough inspections and reports on roofs, building facades and structures. The inspection sets the right scope of works; the report tracks every issue until it's fixed.

What it is

Inspections come in many forms:

  • Visual: visual inspections, close visual inspection (CVI), long-range visual inspection (image capture) and remote camera inspection.
  • Facade and concrete: drummy render inspections, cavity inspections and concrete inspection.
  • Height safety: anchor points, horizontal lifelines and rail systems, vertical lifelines, ladders, guardrails, walkways and personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Testing: ultrasonic thickness testing and corrosion mapping, ultrasonic weld scans, magnetic particle testing, penetrant testing, electromagnetic (eddy current) testing, weld inspection and NACE coating inspection.

The inspection shows how much detail each issue needs before the job can move ahead with the correct scope of works. The report is then built from the findings.

Our reporting system was developed to help building managers, strata managers, contractors, staff and property owners understand the maintenance being proposed and managed on their building or structure. Every fault or issue is recorded with photographs, and everyone involved can see its status in real time: under repair, awaiting approval, completed and so on. No time is wasted on phone calls and emails checking progress.

Reports update themselves as issues move through the process, so a building manager can report to the committee and other stakeholders whenever they need to.

The OneVision advantage: real-time information, organised in one place, cuts down communication problems between building management and contractors.

How each issue is tracked

  1. IdentifiedThe fault is photographed and recorded on the building's report.
  2. ApprovedStakeholders see the issue and its status, and approve the repair.
  3. Repaired
  4. CompletedThe report updates itself, ready to hand to the committee.
