Access Methods Overview

What are Height Access Methods?
Height access methods are the various solutions OneVision provide our clients to carry out building maintenance, trade and cleaning services at heights and on high rise façades.

Height Access Methods include:

  • Abseil or Industrial Rope Access
  • BMU (Building Maintenance Unit)
  • Elevated Work Platforms – boom lifts, scissor lifts, single man hoists, swinging stages, counter weight systems, poles & ladders

Which access method is most suitable for me?
OneVision’s Height Safety Specialist consults, part of our THINK TWICE division, will work through the project with you from the initial consultation providing you with appropriate alternatives. We will go through the design, fabrication, installation and certification stages to provide you with the most appropriate and cost effective Access Solution.

Height Access Trades:
OneVision’s BLACK DIAMOND Team (Our Height Access Trade Specialists) perform a wide range of trades at heights which means we understand what an access system must requires to be user friendly as well as meet the legislative requirements.

Height access legislation:
NSW OHS legislation* stipulates any works carried out at a height of over 2 meters must be done so with a safety control measure in place.

Given this legislation, Australian safety standards & practices, and the fact that our trades staff use these systems regularly, you can be assured that you are getting advice from experts in this specialist field.
